National Farmworker Awareness Week is a week of action for communities and individuals to bring attention to farmworkers and honor them for the contributions they make to our daily lives.

Farmworkers are the root of the supply chain, working to ensure the availability, quality and safety of our fresh food. As part of our effort to celebrate and recognize National Farmworker Awareness Week (NFAW) the Mayor’s office is hosting a long-sleeved shirt drive.

Long-sleeve shirts helps farmworkers mitigate pesticide exposure and prevent suffering heat-related illness.

 What to donate:

  • Light color
  • Slightly used
  • Natural Fabric
  • Long-sleeve Shirt.

Where to donate:

Bring all donations to the Office of the Mayor.

When to donate:

March 26th-March 31st.

Let’s show our support to our farmworkers.

Thank you,
