Pollinator Promenade
Earth Day
Welcome!
This NEW event is to celebrate our local pollinators and highlight all the things they do every day that we rely on. The event features a series of fun “run” event (running isn’t actually allowed) that circle around our newly planted prairie: a pollinator-themed costume contest, a speed walking race, and a scavenger hunt. It will also feature booths by local businesses selling products related to pollinators, as well as local organizations involved with conservation and education. There will be lots of kids activities and games, and a couple of food vendors.
This year, Pollinator Promenade will take place on Saturday, July 13 from 10 AM – 1 PM here at the Elkhart Environmental Center. The event is free and open to the public! If you’d like to register for a fun “run” event or buy a t-shirt, check out the links below.

Our Earth Day event is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates our natural, local environment. This annual spring event includes engaging, environmental educational activities for the whole family and provides free trees for citizens to plant at home and increase our urban canopy.

Help us have a fun Pollinator Promenade! Volunteers can help with setup, cleanup, and event shifts such as judging the competitions, , kids activities, parking, and more. Bring friends and family with you (kids welcome)! If you’d like to help out, please register at:
